December 7th or Bimbia

Bimbia is a beautiful place with a horrible history. It was where the slave trade market took place. Walking through the rain forest one could hardly believe that this was a place with such a history. The only thing that reminded of those time were walls and ruins. It was so hard to believe to walk on grounds where slaves met their fate. It felt weird to do tourism like this. But then I thought maybe tourism is important so that this place and this history will not be forgotten.
